I am doing a course called Biology in Education at the University of the Western Cape. The course, taught by Dr. Lorna Holtman, deals with different teaching techniques that could be used by teachers or lecturers or by practical demonstrators and tutors like me. In this course, we will focus on how to get the students or learners to enjoy classes and how teachers can do things in class to get the best results from their students. Lets face it, in life, you understand things better if you enjoy what you are doing. I will try and get a post up after each topic discussed in class.
